Three out of five times we've been here there has been a tournament that was not mentioned to us. The staff was real smug about us having to ask when they intentionally book tee times for unplayable conditions.

I used to love this course the staff and the lack of pace of play etiquette notwithstanding. the ranger is more concerned with finding balls for these beginner golfers than moving them along.

Simply put, play only if you enjoy 6+ hour rounds, like to be talked down to and enjoy having arguments with players never played golf in their life about pace of play.

I enjoy salmon creek quite a bit, the course is always in great condition with difficult greens which offers a very nice challenge. The only grip I had with the course this time was that the snack shop was not Open and we were playing around noon so on the turn we wanted a burger or something but could not get it, other than that it's a very nice place to play with very reasonable rates.

I am a beginner but nonetheless I found the course was nice, enjoyable and challenging at times. Facility was in good shape and the scenery made it a very peaceful experience. It was an overall pleasure to play at Salmon Creek and I recommend this course.

Played 18 with a bucket of range balls for $23.
Course and greens were in good shape. Nothing too challenging (sand, water) so good for beginners.
Good course for the money.
Pace of play was acceptable for a weekend.

"Greens need attention. Not mowed, very slow. Pace of play very slow."

The foursome ahead of us was comprised of 4 boys (and I mean"boys" ) all under the age of 16 who were having fun driving the carts (which I don't believe is legal) versus keeping the pace of play. This should have been dealt with.

This mature course was well maintained. It is not a championship layout but many of the par 4s required 2 very good shots. The greens putted well. We played with our wives but I would go back again with the guys.
